Novatium GmbH
Who are we?
Novatium GmbH was founded in Innsbruck in 2021 with the aim to support Austrian citizens during the Covid-19 pandemic and to protect their health.
As a young and innovative company, we are able to respond quickly and flexibly to the challenges of the Corona pandemic. We have specialized in particularly efficient Covid-19 testing and the associated data processing.
What do we do?
With our laboratories at various locations in Austria, we ensure the comprehensive and timely analysis of PCR tests. Our high-tech laboratories are characterized by their high capacities and operate 24 hours a day. The use of mobile laboratories additionally enables us to provide flexible, high-quality service at locations with increased demand, major events or in regions with acute demand.
As a single laboratory, we have performed several million PCR tests in Austria within the last year. Our current testing capacity is up to 150,000 PCR single tests per day. In addition, we perform SARS-CoV-2 mutation analyses in collaboration with universities.
We have optimized and automated the entire process from sample collection, sample evaluation to the transmission of test results and are continuously working on its further development.
In close cooperation with public-sector clients, we are currently handling the evaluation of PCR tests for more than 50 nursing homes and more than 120 pharmacies, among others. We support sports clubs and sports associations to provide the best possible security for their teams and events. In addition, we relieve the burden on many locally based companies, businesses and daycare centers by providing continuous employee testing.

How do we support the population?
Through the “Tirol gurgelt“ (Tyrol gargels) initiative, we offer regular PCR tests free of charge to the citizens of Tyrol.
For this purpose, we cooperate with public clients and large supermarket chains, which play a central role as collection and delivery points for tests.
Thus, we enable you to test quickly and easily and take care of your health.
How does Novatium keep track?
We rely here on our in-house software, which is available to all our cooperation partners as well as private individuals for test registration.
The registration, analysis and automatic sending of the results are carried out by us. This allows us to achieve maximum efficiency and ensure the security of sensitive data.
With the help of our own logistics department and our logistics partners, we ensure the delivery of materials and daily sample collection.
